Through a $58,960 check donation that was presented to Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS) today, Scooter’s Coffee will help the organization provide valuable resources and programs to combat-wounded veterans and families of veterans wounded, injured or killed in action.
Between Aug. 2-11, and in connection with Purple Heart Day on Aug. 7, customers across the 29-state Scooter’s Coffee footprint had the option to add a $1 or more donation to their order. All proceeds support Wounded Warriors Family Support to help hometown heroes heal, recover and achieve freedom and independence in their everyday lives.

The Scooter’s Coffee “Teacher Appreciation Day” celebrates all that teachers do. As the new school year gets underway, the drive-thru specialty coffee chain is offering teachers a free drink of any size on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Company Also Teams Up with Local Animal Shelters to Support Pet Adoptions
In celebration of the recent National Dog Day, Saturday, Aug. 26, drive-thru specialty coffee chain Scooter’s Coffee teamed up with local animal shelters to support pet adoption efforts, offered free Pumpkin Spice Pup Cups and other fun giveaways for canine friends, and held a search for its first-ever Dogfluencer.
Over the weekend, Scooter’s Coffee handed out more than 10,000 custom-branded ”Official Pup Cup Tester” dog bandanas featuring the company’s signature Smiley icon and served more than 11,000 Pup Cups (including seasonal Pumpkin Spice Pup Cups) to canine customers across the country.
In addition, Scooter’s Coffee partnered with animal shelters across its footprint to raise awareness of pet adoption through volunteer or donation initiatives. In Omaha, Neb., where Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered, the company partnered with the Nebraska Humane Society to fund adoption fees for dogs and cats, up to $5,000.

Dogs can enjoy a free, fall-inspired Pumpkin Spice Pup Cup made up of all dog-friendly ingredients, including whipped cream, a pumpkin dog treat, and a dusting of cinnamon. As summer approaches, Scooter’s Coffee stores are teaming up with a local nonprofit to provide children in foster care an opportunity to attend a life-changing summer camp in Southeast Missouri.
On Friday, May 19, 2023, several Scooter’s Coffee locations throughout Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas are hosting a Day of Giving event to support Restore the Wonder, a nonprofit that engages the hearts of children in foster care and helps them enjoy life while developing meaningful and positive relationships.
During the Day of Giving, Scooter’s Coffee Franchisees Bart and Keri Vandeven, and Robert and Elizabeth Gray, will donate 50% of customer sales from May 19 to Restore the Wonder. Local participating locations also will collectively match customer donations to Restore the Wonder, up to $10,000 on May 19.
